Just how motivated are our racers?

Kelly Mahon, Race 96, flew his Tailwind down from Idaho for the Grace Flight Air Race in Sherman, Texas earlier in the month, then put his airplane up in a local hangar and flew commercial home.  He returned to fly his aircraft on to Memphis to run the Memphis 100 Air Race, then flew the Tailwind back home after the race.

We received this upon his return home:

"Well Race 96 made it home to North Idaho today (Sunday) just after lunch... Memphis was a great event and thanks to all... I did come up with a few rough numbers from my trip down south.
